Students have been studying time and money throughout the year and this unit is intended to help students solidify their understandings of these topics. Students tell time to the nearest 5-minutes. They count collections of coins up to $2.00.
Standards:
- MTH.G2.7a Count and compare a collection of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters whose total value is $2.00 or less
- MTH.G2.7b Use the cent symbol, dollar symbol, and decimal point to write a value of money
- MTH.G2.9 Tell time and write time to the nearest five minutes, using analog and digital clocks
- MTH.G2.10a Determine past and future days of the week
- MTH.G2.10b Identify specific days and dates on a given calendar
