- Go on a walk and collect leaves or rocks. Sort them by size.
- Lay out a bunch of family socks and have them
- Sort laundry by shirts, pants, socks, undergarments
- Sort coins: penny, nickel, dime, quarter
- Sort toys: size, color, shape, texture (hard or soft)
