Student Council Association (SCA)

The Bull Run SCA provides all students with an opportunity to participate through classroom representatives and student officers. The SCA schedules various “spirit days” throughout the school year to generate school spirit.

After School Activities

The Bull Run PTA offers many after-school activities. School rules apply during these activities. Please be courteous to instructors and school staff and pick up your child promptly from these activities. The office will not be open to supervise children.

Chess Club - The Chess Club has been in operation since the early 2000’s and has won multiple state and national awards. All skill levels are accepted, from beginners to experts.

KidArt - A fine art program which encourages children to build confidence in expressing their creativity using materials such as pastels, paint, pen & ink, while learning about artists and art movements.

Global Plus Language Program - Before-school Spanish classes taught by experienced teachers. Classes are conducted by ACE Global Plus and focus on exposing children to Spanish using interactive methods and activities.

Math Club - Coaching to prepare students for the international Math Kangaroo competition (test held in March). 

Girls on the Run -  This is a program to help girls develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games, culminating in a celebratory 5k run.

National Geographic Bee - Bull Run participates, along with many other U.S. schools, in the National Geographic Bee using materials prepared by the National Geographic Society. 

Spelling Bee -  through word study, the spelling bee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty

Science Olympiad - This program offers students the opportunity to improve their understanding in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to work together in teams to learn new skills.

Theatre Club -  For the future thespians, this club offers the students the ability to learn about the theatre arts and how to manage and put together a great performance.
