  1. Sort plates, bowls, forks, spoons, cups from the dishwasher before putting them away.
  2. Sort groceries: hard or soft, cold or warm, in a box or bag
  3. Sort cereal: Fruit loops or mixed cereals 
  4. Go on a walk and collect leaves or rocks. Sort them by size.
  5. Lay out a bunch of family socks and have them
  6. Sort laundry by shirts, pants, socks, undergarments
  7. Sort coins: penny, nickel, dime, quarter
  8. Sort toys: size, color, shape, texture (hard or soft)
